Godwit – New Zealand’s Bird of the Year

After a close fought race the bar-tailed godwit was today voted New Zealand’s favourite bird in 2015.

Thanks to all the voters, the Forest and Bird organisers and to all of the professionals and volunteers who put so much time into conserving NZs birds, bugs, trees lichens and more.
